The room at Awi Guest House was just perfect for me as a backpacker. It had a cozy seating area where I could relax after a long day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen with a microwave was a huge plus for me. I could cook my own meals and save some money during my stay.- I loved how all the units had a terrace with city views. It was breathtaking to sit there and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Aswan.- The 2-bedroom apartment I stayed in had a flat-screen TV, which was great for winding down at night and catching up on my favorite shows.- The tile/marble floor in the apartment gave it a modern and clean feel, which I really appreciated.- The soundproofing in the apartment was a bonus. I could have a peaceful sleep without any disturbances.
Personally, I found the view of the lake from the units a bit underwhelming. However, I understand that others might still find it enjoyable.

The place was beautiful! Right on the river, so peaceful and quiet. The view was amazing, even better than any picture. The wifi was reliable and there was a big fridge in the room. The owners were super helpful, giving us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The house was surrounded by mango and palm trees, creating a lovely atmosphere. Plus, the Aswan Museum and ancient temples were just a short walk away.
Honestly, there were no cons. Our experience was perfect and we had a wonderful time.

The shared lounge was such a thrilling place to be, I could hardly contain my excitement. And oh, the hot tub! It practically swept me off my feet. And who needs Wi-Fi when you can access a balcony? Fancy, fancy.
I just wish they had offered a roller coaster ride instead of a car rental service. How boring.
